Product Usage

Indole-3-Butyric Acid (吲哚-3-丁酸) - Product Applications

Indole-3-Butyric Acid (IBA) is a high-efficiency plant growth regulator belonging to the auxin family, widely recognized for its superior ability to promote root initiation. Its primary application is in horticulture and silviculture, where it is the active ingredient in rooting hormones for cuttings, significantly increasing the success rate of propagation for ornamental plants, fruit trees, and forest species. In broad-acre agriculture, it is used as a seed soak or foliar spray to enhance root system development, leading to improved nutrient uptake and increased crop resilience against environmental stress. Furthermore, it is a vital tool in plant tissue culture, used in specialized media to induce adventitious root formation in micropropagated plantlets. In landscape management, IBA is applied during transplanting to reduce "transplant shock" and ensure the rapid establishment of young trees and shrubs.
