Product Details

Ammonium sulfate (AS) is the earliest nitrogen fertilizer produced and used. Usually used as a standard nitrogen fertilizer, the nitrogen content is between 20% and 30%. It's a very important fertilizer for any kind of soil that has a high pH and needs a little sulfate to fight high calcium or high pH. The good thing about ammonium sulfate is that the nitrogen in it is released slightly more slowly, so it lasts better throughout the growing season than the nitrate form of nitrogen.
