Product Details
Palladium is a transition element of Group III (nickel group) and light platinum metal in the periodic table. It is a silvery-white metal that is moderately hard, moderately forgeable, and ductile. Palladium is an intermediate element in Group 10 of transition elements (periods 4, 5, and 6). Many of its properties are similar to those of nickel, which is above it, and platinum, which is below it, in this group. Palladium is a soft, silvery-white metal that has chemical and physical properties very similar to those of platinum. It is ductile and malleable, meaning it can be worked into thin sheets and stretched through a die into very fine wire. Palladium is soluble in aqua regia, hot nitric acid, sulfuric acid, slightly soluble in hydrochloric acid, and insoluble in cold and hot water.

Product Usage
Product UsagePalladium, with the element symbol Pd and atomic number 46, is a rare platinum-group metal. It appears as a silvery-white and shiny metal, with good ductility, electrical conductivity, catalytic activity and strong stability. Its core application is in the catalytic field. As an efficient catalyst, it is widely used in organic synthesis and automobile exhaust purification, which can catalyze hydrogenation, dehydrogenation and other reactions, reducing the emission of harmful gases in automobile exhaust. In the electronic field, it is used to manufacture electronic components, contacts and thick-film pastes, improving the conductivity and stability of electronic equipment. In addition, it is used in jewelry processing as a raw material for precious metal jewelry; in the dental field for making dental restorations; it is also an important component of hydrogen storage materials, used in hydrogen energy-related fields, and is an indispensable rare metal material in industrial production and high-end manufacturing.
